Joshua is 4!

I blinked and this little guy became a big four year old!

It's crazy to me to think that Kirsten turned four when we moved into our house in Little Rock which means that we've already been here for a year and a half!

We celebrated Joshua this year with a pumpkin patch birthday party. From about the 1st of September, all he could talk about was his birthday party at the pumpkin patch. He told the man in the check-out lane at the grocery store, the postal clerk at the post office, his teachers at school, and pretty much anyone else who would listen! Joshua's excitement about things is contagious, and I hope that he always keeps that quality!

It turned out being a busy weekend at the pumpkin patch and many of our friends were out of town because it was fall break for the school districts here, but Joshua had a blast and we had tons of fun celebrating with friends!

Although I can't believe that Joshua is four, he is such a fun little guy! He's practical and logical most of the time, but he also has such a huge heart for others. It's so much fun to be his mom and get to watch his personality continue to develop!

K's First Day of Kindergarten

We officially have a kindergartner! The beginning of school coincided with Jeremy going on a TDY for two months, so although we were missing Daddy, Kirsten had a successful first day of school!
She is in love with her teacher, Mrs. Glover, and we are so grateful for a good school for her to attend and a teacher who loves her students well!

The boys also had a great first day! They are going to the same MDO that they went to last year, in the next class up, and they were so excited to get back into it! Can you tell?

It really does take a village to raise children, and I am constantly grateful for the teachers in these kids' lives who have been blessed with the patience and wisdom to teach them!
