January
Micah’s liver biopsy was completely normal. We are still
seeing GI to monitor his liver enzymes long term, but we were so thankful for a
good report!
It snowed! There was actually enough snow to build a snowman,
a rare thing for Arkansas!
February
We dedicated our Micah man at church surrounded by amazing
friends that are much more like family!
Kirsten had her first piano recital, and she rocked it! Her
love of music continues to grow, and it’s fun to watch her pursue her passions.
March
Micah turned 1!!!
And we celebrated our first World Down Syndrome Day with
him. He has changed our lives for the better, and I am grateful every single
day that I get to be his mama!
April
Karen and I got to surprise Rachel with a visit and baby
shower gifts from friends all over the world. I love our military family, and
love these two more than words!
May
We celebrated this one’s birthday.
And Joshua got to visit his new school for Kindergarten
preview.
In other news, we purchased land! After mulling it over for months, we took the plunge and bought 11 acres that we hope to
build on some day!
June
We had a visit from good friends.
Kirsten and Nathan have been friends since birth. A lot has changed since they used to crawl around after each other from toy to toy during playgroup. And our families have also grown just
a little since then!
We spent time in Pennsylvania with Grandpa, Grandma, and
Emily! It was adventurous and no one ended up in the hospital, so I’d call it a big win!
We celebrated Caleb’s 4th birthday while we were
there.
